Orthodontics

When first attached or when adjusted, braces can cause temporary soreness. After a couple of days your teeth will get used to the change and discomfort subsides.

We offer several highly-effective ways to create a brighter, more vibrant smile.

One of the easiest ways is the application of porcelain veneers, which are thin layers of material bonded to the outside of teeth to cover discoloration and enhance whiteness. Veneers are a great way to hide stains, chips and gaps in teeth that may produce a somewhat unsightly appearance.

Dental bonding is another useful method that can help patients safely and affordably fill in gaps and cracks in teeth and develop better-looking teeth in generally just one dental visit. Bonding resin is matched to the color of your teeth, is easy to apply and provides a natural, aesthetically-pleasing look.

Teeth whitening is also offered by our office and can be provided either in-office or at home. The procedure includes a whitening agent that incorporates low-energy blue light activation that effectively and safely eliminates stains and discoloration.

We also provide high-quality orthodontic services, such as braces, to create a healthier and more natural-looking smile. Braces, though generally more long-term than other cosmetic treatments, are highly-effective at correcting crooked teeth and creating better tooth and gum alignment.

When teeth are twisted, overlapping or simply don’t fit together properly, this irregularity is called malocclusion. Malocclusion can be treated at any age, in fact, one out of five orthodontic patients is an adult.

The length of time is takes to properly reposition your teeth with braces depends on your age, the severity of your misalignments, and the condition of your mouth. An average child may wear braces for 18 to 30 months. Adults may have to wear braces for longer periods of time depending on the above factors, though there are also more modern orthodontic options that can allow for shorter treatment periods.
